Pini Kay hardwood briquettes are something very special. Unlike other wood briquettes, which are already properly pressed with a pressure of approx. 300-400 bar, Pini Kay briquettes compress the material with approx. 1000 – 1100 bar. Depending on the manufacturer of the presses, the shapes may vary somewhat. The high pressure also creates an enormous amount of frictional heat, which causes the briquettes to have a very smooth, black-brown layer of burnt wood on the outside. The hole in the center is also typical of this type of briquette. The briquettes burn very strongly (also due to the pulling effect of the hole), are very stable in shape and give off a very intense heat. The hardwood used (beech wood and oak wood) ensures a correspondingly long glowing time.

– Wood briquettes should always be stored protected from moisture in dry rooms.
– Wood briquettes can be used in heating systems for solid fuels.
– The combustion chamber of the stove may be filled only in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
– The air supply may only be throttled when the briquettes are fully glowing.
– Round briquettes expand when burning and can become up to 50% longer.
